YZRDW (F) and YZRSW (F) series eddy current brake wound rotor two-speed three-phase asynchronous motors are specially developed for the lifting mechanism of large and medium-sized tower cranes and other similar equipment. It has the characteristics of smooth speed regulation, small starting current, strong overload capacity, high mechanical strength, low temperature rise and high reliability, especially suitable for those short-time or intermittent operation, frequent starting and braking, sometimes overload and significant vibration and shock equipment.

Main Parameters

(F) series motors share one set of high and low speed windings on stator and rotor, and adopt single winding variable pole speed control technology, with only 3 wires leading from the low speed winding on rotor, leading through 3 collector rings.
YZRSW (F) series motors have independent windings for both high and low speed windings on stator and rotor, and the rotor leads to 6 wires, which are led through 6 collector rings.
The rated voltage of the motor stator is 380V, frequency 50Hz, and the excitation voltage of the eddy current brake is 80V DC.
The motor installation type is IMB3, self-fan cooling IC411 or forced air cooling IC416 with fan, protection class IP44, insulation class F or H.
The base working system of the motor is S3-40%, and the base working system of the eddy current brake is S3-15%.
The motor can be equipped with additional thermal protection measures according to user requirements, and thermal protection elements are buried in the winding.
Block number 200～280, two-speed 4/8 poles, power class 15kW～60kW.
